I guess I can eat my own words today, we did come in late, we were hoping for the late bite, and we end with not much to show for it. We did try, with lots of moves to different areas of the ledge, and anglers never gave up catching plenty of cod for activity, but the haddock just never turned for us today. Cod fishing does open soon, I know it gets frustrating for anglers on board trust me I know. Cod fish were weighed for the pool up to 14 lbs today with many contenders and with some of the crew catching a few haddock to go along with the action. We have plenty of room for the week wed, Fri , sat and Sunday with two boats in the water now, and one more going in on Monday.
