Fishing over this past weekend started of well with Saturdays fishing being pretty easy with just a few stops and quick drift toward the end of the day. Most anglers took home good numbers of fish which were all mixed, even a few pollock to mix it up. Sunday we spent the morning back at the same routine but not the same turnout, no bite and the fish we caught we couldn't keep. After covering many miles we ended the day with a slow pick which for a few ended with 8 or 9 but most just getting to the board. Mondays Marathon, after a long day with many moves deep shallow, didn't make the difference for us. Late in the third quarter we were able to sit with a steady pick of cod which for some bailed out with 8-10 fish but many with just a couple, all in all slow trip. Pool fish caught late was 18lbs, good job Tony. Next trip is on Friday with the weather looking up. Another marathon for Monday with some spots left. 18 hour trips are just about filled with a few spots on the July 27th and a couple on August 17th, we may put one together for early in September, call for the update.
