Good start to the day, weather was nice, warmer too, and the fish were pretty active for most of the morning. First stop was the best catching cod and haddock in pretty good numbers for a while. The fishing slowed during the tide change and we never got the morning bite back. Aternoon was a few short moves with a pick of cod. Although we weren't able to keep the fish going strong all day, most anglers had 6-10 keepers and some did very well with high hook catching 25 keepers. Spring fishing looks good with the bait and whales showing on the ledge. Next trip fri Sat Sun and Monday being the holiday.
