Mondays labor day Marathon, had to fight the tied and some dogs, after a first stop early with dogs and a tied wow!!! , few stops later fishing got better and most anglers started to figure out the tied, alot of credit for the patience on this trip, fishing deep with the tied takes alot of patience which was greatly appreciated. By the middle of the day fishing improved, not fast but at the end of the day everyone had a good bag of fillets to go. Pool winner was a 34# hake followed close by a 32#,31#29# hake and a 26# cod, lots of pollock in the mix up to 20lbs. Marathons are scheduled for every Monday in May and September so there are a few left. Call for reservation and rail positions, these trips are limited. The 1/2 day stuggled alittle today, still managed to capture a few, but lots got away. The fall schedule for the all day is mondays being 12 hr. trips wed, fri, sat and sun threw the month of september.
